Power On and Preparation
1.Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Correctly insert two 1.5V AAA batteries, paying attention to the polarity (+/-), then securely close the cover.
2.Power On: Briefly press the power button labeled "OFF" on the side or panel of the device. The screen will light up, indicating successful startup, and the device will enter standby mode ready for measurement.
Basic Measurement (Single Measurement)
This is the most commonly used function for measuring the distance of a straight line.
Aim
Place the rear end of the device firmly against (or align it with) the starting point of the measurement.
Emit Laser
Press and hold the button labeled "LASER" or the large red measurement button. A visible laser beam will be emitted from the front. Precisely aim the laser dot at your measurement endpoint (e.g., the opposite wall).
Read Data
Release the measurement button. The precise distance value from your current position to the target point will be immediately displayed on the screen. The unit is typically meters (m).

1.Briefly press the "UNIT" button to cycle through the available measurement units: meters (m), feet (ft), and inches (in).
